Text Box: GHOST HUNTING SAFETY SHEET

Text Box: 1. Never go ghost hunting alone!! Always bring a friend along for safety reasons. That is because you have more to fear from the living then from the dead so you should also bring some other forms of protection like pepper spray and a cell phone.

2. Many ghost hunters say a prayer or blessing for protection before a ghost hunt.

3. Perform a daytime walkthrough of the investigation site before doing a nighttime investigation to get familiar with your surroundings and to root out any hazards.

4. STAY POSITIVE during the investigation!! Positive people attract good entities and get better results. Negative people attract bad entities and they can ruin your investigation.

5. Do your best not to show your fear. It is thought that a pleasant spirit will not come around if they sense you are afraid.

6. If you have a bad feeling and feel that someone unknown force wants you to leave then by all means LEAVE!! You should never go against this feeling.

7. Never under any circumstance harass or negatively dare an entity to make itself known to you. Bad spirits will take you up on this in very negative and threatening ways.
8. Make sure you have permission before entering private property such as a cemetery or abandoned house. If not you run the risk of being fined or even arrested.

9. Always let a friend or loved one know exactly where you are going, how long you plan to stay, and who you are planning to work with on the investigation.

10. Many investigators finish an investigation by asking their God for protection. "All unseen presences must remain here in the name of God" (or however you would do it according to your own personal religious beliefs). Don't forget to thank all those unseen spirits for allowing you into their domain.
