Text Box: THE GHOST HUNTERS TOOL KIT

Text Box: 1. A good vest with lots of pockets for holding all your electronic ghost hunting tools.
2. Pen and paper or voice recorder for recording your notes.
3. Extra batteries for all of your equipment.
4. Analog or digital still camera for recording anomalies.
5. Analog or digital voice recorder with external microphone for capturing EVP. Look for a model that excels at picking up background noise.
6. Video camera for catching "live" action.  Get one with good night vision capabilities.
7. Infrared motion detectors.
8. Electro-Magnetic Field (EMF) detectors. Ghosts have magnetic and electrical properties that can be picked up with these devices.
9. Infrared non-contact and standard thermometers for sensing paranormal "cold spots" or notable temperature changes which can be indicative of spirits attempting to manifest themselves nearby.
10. Any standard compass. Vortexes or other paranormal activity can cause a compass to spin or act erratically.
11. Dowsing rods. They are said to sway in when coming across an invisible energy field.
12. Strobe light - Allows the human eye to see something moving quickly through the room.
13. Night vision scope. Can allow you to see in the dark. The thought is that you need a high powered model such as a Gen 3.
14. Thermal imaging camera. These puppies are expensive and only for the serious high end ghost hunter but they work great at picking up unseen temperature changes and spirit  entities.
